Welcome!
Welcome to my website! I am a professional librarian currently working as the Interim Branch Head of the Gemmill Engineering, Math, & Physics Library at the University of Colorado Boulder.
My journey to academic librarianship began with my undergraduate career at the University of Rochester which provided me with a foundation in the academic study of Religion, practical experience working in education, and a love of the Rush Rhees Library. This mix of interests and experiences led me to become a preschool teacher with a passion for early literacy. This passion drove me to apply for the Early Childhood Librarianship Fellowship at the University of Denver where I received my Master’s in Library & Information Science in June 2012. While completing this Fellowship, experiences in academic library settings inspired my interest in working with patrons from the other end of the educational spectrum: college students. I am committed to partnering with students in their process of discovery and to supporting lifelong learning at any age. |
